FrOSCon (Free and Open Source Software Conference) is now just around the corner! If you like us on facebook, or follow us on twitter, you’ve most likely heard that the Sphinx team will be there (and if you haven’t liked or followed us yet, feel free to take this opportunity to do so).
Head consultant and support specialist, Adrian Nuta, will be delivering a talk on the latest advances in Sphinx RealTime Indexes. To learn more about the talk, visit this link. Adrian will be discussing how, in the past, the features available for RealTime indexes were not as extensive as traditional indexes. We’ve done a lot of work on bringing RealTime indexes up to speed with traditional indexes and Adrian will describe the results of all this hard work. Read more about the updates to RealTime Indexes here.
Also, if you’re going to be at FrOSCon you’ll have the opportunity to meet the original author of Sphinx, Andrew Aksyonoff. This is a good opportunity to query the Query Master himself! Come by our both if you would like to discuss your search needs, or if you would like to learn more about the nitty-gritty details of the Sphinx engine.
So, if you have questions about what we’re planning (or if you would like Adrian to address something specific about our RealTime Indexes in his talk) please feel free to comment on this post, or contact us here.
We hope to see you there!
