Pat Allan is the founder and developer of Thinking Sphinx the Ruby on Rails Sphinx library. As part of Thinking Sphinx he provides Sphinx and Ruby consulting for Ruby/Rails developers. In addition, Pat launched Flying Sphinx and offers a service hosting Sphinx in the cloud for sites on Heroku.
